Course Outline

The park manager’s course is a bespoke package based on Certificate III and IV of tourism as well as units from the Business series of courses. This course has been developed in conjunction with our strategic partner, Reinforce Solutions, to be industry leading and contextually relevant.  The course is conducted over a 10 day period facilitated at a holiday park to immerse the student in the surroundings of the park manager.

Experience across all tourism accommodation sectors with product procurement, sales and operations and as a state judge for the annual caravan and camping awards of excellence.

What roles can I get with completion of this course?

Can I apply for credit transfer or RPL?

If you have completed an accredited qualification or recognised units of study with a Registered
Training Organisation, you may be eligible for a credit transfer.

Trainers will need to review if your accredited qualification or recognised units are still within a current training package or are equivalent to the current training package or units. Discuss your previous educational qualifications with your trainer to see if this is a possibility for you.

Can I apply for recognition of prior learning?

RPL is available to any learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within
the qualification. Please contact us for more information on this process and how to apply.

What are the entry requirements for the course?

There is no age limit, however applicants should have successfully completed year 10. Mature age and
students with prior learning and experience are encouraged to apply.

Students must have the necessary health and fitness to carry out the assessment requirements which
include:

  • Office work
  • Grounds and maintenance work
  • Cleaning.
