Course Overview

The Klepper Training Academy’s Provide First Aid course, a nationally accredited course offered across Southeast Queensland, offers the utmost flexibility and fosters a positive learning atmosphere. It’s designed to suit your needs, whether you prefer learning in public locations or at your workplace (subject to minimum numbers). This ensures convenience.

We offer various pathways to certification, including a one-day, face-to-face option, or a blended approach with a half-day of practical training and a half-day of eLearning. Upon completion, you will receive qualifications in Basic First Aid (HLTAID011), Provide CPR (HLTAID009), and Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (HLTAID010).

Units of Competency

Upon completion of the Provide First Aid course, you will be issued with the below units of competency. The HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course has a currency of three years. The HLTAID009 Provide CPR unit has a currency of one year.

FAQs

What roles can I get with completion of this course?

First Aid courses are conducted to improve and refine first aid skills, and also ensure compliance with WHS legislation, including Safe Work Australia guidelines.

Can I apply for credit transfer?

If you have completed an accredited qualification or recognised units of study with a Registered Training Organisation, you may be eligible for a credit transfer.

Trainers will need to review if your accredited qualification or recognised units are still within a current training package or are equivalent to the current training package or units. Discuss your previous educational qualifications with your trainer to see if this is a possibility for you.

Can I apply for recognition of prior learning?

RPL is available to any learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the qualification. Please contact us for more information on this process and how to apply.
