Course Overview

The Klepper Training Academy’s Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course, a nationally accredited unit of competency available throughout Southeast Queensland. Klepper Training Academy excels in offering flexibility and fostering a positive learning environment. You can choose to participate in this course in public locations or even at your workplace (subject to minimum numbers), ensuring the utmost convenience.

We provide various pathways to qualification, including a half-day face-to-face option, or a blended approach with eLearning followed by a 2-hour practical training session. Upon successful completion, you will be granted the Provide CPR (HLTAID009) unit of competency.

Upon completion of the Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course, you will be issued with the below unit of competency. The HLTAID009 Provide CPR unit has a currency of one year.

What roles can I get with completion of this course?

First Aid courses are conducted to improve and refine first aid skills, and also ensure compliance with WHS legislation, including Safe Work Australia guidelines.

Can I apply for credit transfer?

If you have completed an accredited qualification or recognised units of study with a Registered Training Organisation, you may be eligible for a credit transfer.

Trainers will need to review if your accredited qualification or recognised units are still within a current training package or are equivalent to the current training package or units. Discuss your previous educational qualifications with your trainer to see if this is a possibility for you.

Can I apply for recognition of prior learning?

RPL is available to any learner who can provide evidence of competency for the units offered within the qualification. Please contact us for more information on this process and how to apply.
